To enter and participate, listeners must upload a photo of their child or grandchild (defined as biological, foster, adoptive child or legal ward) through one of our station websites, wixy.com, mix945.com or 925thechief.com, before 5pm, Friday, November 1, 2013.

All listeners will then be able to vote for the photo of their choice from approximately 6am November 4 through 11:59pm November 8, 2013. The photo with the most votes will be announced as the winner, and one prize awarded, on Monday, November 11th.

Listeners can vote once per day during the voting round (November 4-8).

Participants who wish to vote must become a registered user through the uPickem portal on the station website.  Votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, or other automated means will not be allowed and will be disqualified. Only one registered account per voter is allowed. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.

The Illini Radio Group reserves the right to disqualify a voter in its sole discretion and/or use another means to determine the winning photo. 

The prize to be awarded is an iPad Mini tablet computer with 16 gigabyte memory and WiFi capability.  Retail is approximately $329.

The winner will be determined on November 11, 2013. The photo with the most votes according to the uPickem website platform will be declared the winner.  In the event of a voting tie, the winner will be determined by coin toss.  Prize will be awarded on or before December 13, 2013.

All entrants must be at least 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law.

Winners will be notified by email. If the station is unable to contact the winner after seven (7) business days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected.  If an eligible winner cannot be found for the prize, the prize will not be awarded.  The Illini Radio Group reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Contests on all stations of the Illini Radio Group are open to all eligible Illinois residents, 18 or older who have not won anything on the station in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months.

Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of MIX 94.5, WIXY 100.3, 92.5 The Chief, The Illini Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., its subsidiaries their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the MIX 94.5, WIXY 100.3 and 92.5 The Chief main studios are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Illini Radio Group management, which are final on all matters pertaining to this contest. 

Entrants further grant to The Illini Radio Group the right to use and publish their proper name and their city and state of residence online and in print, or any other media, in connection with this contest.

All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.

Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and may be required to complete an IRS 1099 form.  The Illini Radio Group reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed forms are received.
